چکیده

Anthropometrics and sex influence balance performances, visual information can change anthropometrics’ relation the postural sway. Therefore, aim of present study was to evaluate effect anthropometric characteristics, sex, biofeedback and/or their interaction on a computerized wobble board. Twenty-seven (14 females, 13 males) young adults performed three 30-s double leg stance trials board during two conditions: with without biofeedback. Visual improved (p = 0.010) respect condition Regardless no differences between conditions were found 0.088). When investigating anthropometrics variables, interactions conditions, significant main lower limb/height ratio, 0.0008; R2 0.57). For condition, effects for body mass 0.0012; 0.43) whole-body moment inertia 0.0030; 0.39) found. Results from showed (1) performance; (2) performances emerged; (3) in condition. Findings could have an impact training evaluations protocols, especially when several populations such as children, athletes, older people disorders are involved.

Correlation between Anthropometric Characteristics, Core Muscle Endurance, and Dynamic Postural Stability (DPSI) Among Military Personnel

Background: One of the problems encountered by active population, especially military personnel, is high incidence of musculoskeletal injuries leading to lose work time and high expenses. These injuries occur due to so many reasons, some of which are considered to be modifiable. The aim of the present study was to investigate correlation between some anthropometrical characteristics, core muscl...
